Hi Linda and Grady,

I just wanted to let you know how much we love April and am so thrilled that Sandi and Tom Corcoran bought her grandson from you! I attached a couple of pictures of April – sorry the grass around her looks so bad. We had our fence stained and they were supposed to protect our grass…that didn’t happen. April has changed so much in the last year. She is completely housetrained, has become more outgoing, and loves to go out and protect our back yard. She can’t be outside when the pool man comes because she barks and “charges” him. We just laughed when he told us he was afraid of her! My husband, Jim, calls her “Apey” and “Little” and absolutely spoils her rotten. April just adores him too. I am going home with Sandi tomorrow during lunch to meet Charlie Brown – such a cute name for I am sure a very cute boy.
Best regards to both of you,

Terri

Hi Linda and Grady,

Thank you so much for allowing me to have sweet Trouble. She has really been an angel and we, my husband Lane, and I both think she is quite the Princess and we adore her. She now watches everything I do with those sweet eyes that say that she wants to please me in every way. She is doing quite well to go potty outside, but doesn’t quite get the excited, praise I give to her immediately following. She gets excited, but gives you a look like “I do this everyday, so why all of this adoration and praise.” She did ask to go potty this morning. Yea! She is very smart. What a doll! She just loves for me to hold her and rub her most of all. She is surrounded by toys and has her own snuggle bed, but prefers the dental bone I gave her most of all. I know that it had to be hard on you, seeing her leave but she has a GREAT home and is loved dearly. I will try to send pictures along as she settles in here, but is really doing well. She had a little loose stool the first day from the worming, but it was all normal this a.m. I just had to write and tell you how very much she is loved and such a beauty!! Thank you Linda and Grady for this beautiful girl.
Sincerely,

Brenda and Trouble

Hi Linda,

John took a photo this morning of a blooming cactus (that isn’t supposed to bloom) and Megan decided it’s ridiculous to photograph a plant when she was right there --- available --- and SOOO much prettier. She’s always photogenic, but I think she out-did herself this morning! She’s definitely the Queen around here --- calls most of the shots --- and has begun the last couple months to look after Moose (who, at 15 is spending more of his days resting)! She comes and gets us out of the office when Moose needs to go out…. We haven’t figured out how they communicate, but he’s definitely delegated to her responsibility for letting us know when he’s ready! (Many times, she doesn’t go out, but every time she comes asking on his behalf, he jumps down from the bed and needs to go). We knew she understood English, but now apparently he and she communicate in “Dog-lish”! He’s also delegating to her the responsibility of Sentinel --- she sits at the window as Guard Dog (at 4.2 pounds that’s a serious responsibility)! He decides from his “throne” (our bed in the master bedroom) whether the disturbance she’s warning about is worth him getting up to “help” her chase away the danger! He always helps for “dangers” like the UPS truck --- which I think is programmed in their DNA to HATE --- but most “minor” things he leaves to her now. Again, thanks so much for sending us Megan….. she’s certainly brightened our lives --- we can’t imagine life without at least 2 Paps! Everyone who sees her adores her! Thanks so much for the wonderful beginning you provided for her! She is so sweet, cuddly and friendly (once she decides we’ve given her the “OK” to be nice to strangers) ---- and I know you all are the reason she is such a fabulous bundle of love & action! Hope everything is well with you and all your wonderful Paps!

Linda and Grady,

I was fooling around with the camera...with a dog on my lap of course, and came up with a series of head shots which I like very much. I thought you might like to see them. I think Delta is just gorgeous and so very photogenic.

Thanks for listening. You are right. It is always so hard to lose one of our “children.” Little Emma was a little doll. I am attaching a couple of pictures for you and Grady.

Linda,

I just had to send this one. Stella is sleeping with her head resting on her special pillow. When I had the monogramming done in November, I went ahead and had a pillow made for our next pap baby, who Bob has named Roux. By the way, Bob keeps saying we need to have "two or three," which is music for me.

Take care,
Laurie

Linda & Grady,

Delta has gotten more bold in her attention getting behavior. More and more she sits on my lap. And I have a lap because I sit in my recliner, stitch (I use stretcher bars), and watch TV. Wellllll....... When she thinks that she has had enough of that and wants some undivided attention (no multi tasking when it comes to her petting time) she hangs her head over the stitching frame. The first time she did it, I cursed the fates that the camera was in the other room. So I moved the camera close to the chair. And I have to tell you it is awkward to hold a stitching frame in one hand, especially with a dog's head on it, and hold a camera in the other hand far enough away to get a picture. The results were worth it.

Linda & Grady:

This morning I put out the recycling just as I have done for the whole year that Delta has lived with me. I drop the bag off the deck into the flower bed and when my tenant comes home from work he puts it in the container and onto the curb on Tuesday. The recycling is mostly dog food cans (with pull tops...no sharp edges) from the boys because I cook for Delta. Today was a day like any other. I walked the little plastic grocery bag outdoors and dropped it off the deck into the 18" high flower bed. Which is now bare dirt since the plants there were cleaned out in preparation for winter. A little later I hear "clink.....clink". And the picture says the rest.

Lacy has raided Loki's toy box and heisted the ones she likes the best and made a nest in the bed that she likes the best. LOL Now she has to lay on the side of the bed since she has filled the middle. These were taken last night.

Linda & Grady:

Joyce Young in Kentucky (she is on papfriends too) sent a package to "Lacy Bias" and it was a pretty pink dress though I think Lacy was less than thrilled to receive it. The scenario went something like this: Lacy: no don't take my picture! I don't like wearing clothes!
Loki: Poor Lacy, mom she doesn't like wearing that dress.
Lacy: Please take it off!

Bonnie

Linda & Grady:

Last night Loki played with Lacy. Now Loki has never played with other dogs very much. At the Kansas City National Pat Barton and her Houdini were there and Loki played with Houdini. Such a surprise but then last night he played with her. That is till he barked at her and then she ran to her momma. LOL They were so cute doing their play bows and then she got on her back and batted those little feet at him as he jumped back and forth.

Dear Linda and Grady,

I wanted to write and let you know how little Lizzy is adjusting to her new home. She has claimed several parts of the house and furniture as her own. Her favorite places are: the kitchen, reclining loveseat sofa and our or actually her queen size bed. At first she really enjoyed her new crate for about a month but now since we let her roam in the house she stays mostly in the sunroom with Ken. While Ken watches television, he will feed her popcorn, greenies, or doggie treats. I make sure these are all low calorie and in limited amounts. Lizzy is a little rough on Chewy when it comes down to eating so we’ve had to feed them separate. She may be at least half his size but I don’t think she knows it and he lets her push him around. She acts and looks like a little princess in the house and that is partly my husband’s fault. Ken has really spoiled her rotten. Chewy has been attending dog training and is doing so much better. I’ve been trying to work with Lizzy on sitting but my husband, Ken, just complains because he keeps telling me she is RETIRED like him and doesn’t need to work for food. I guess Lizzy will be forced into living a lazy and relax life. It is rough living a dog’s life – we should be so lucky! I trimmed her toe nails for the first time, last time I took her to a groomer. She was wonderful and did not even give me any problems. I can’t say that about brushing her teeth! I’ve been brushing her teeth about three times a week and she really fights me. Most of the time I usually win and get it accomplished. I am determined that she will not lose anymore teeth and I’ve bought about everything on the market to use for preventive treatment. Someone told me that bad teeth can create heart problems so that was enough for me to get proactive in her oral health. I am happy to say that both Lizzy and Chewy walk about an hour each day on Saturdays and Sundays. She really seems to enjoy our walks and keeps up with Chewy. We walk all around the school grounds and large pavilions. When I walk with the dogs, it is my special prayer time and I include you and your family. Thanks again for Little Liz …. She has adjusted to our family, even the grandchildren. Lizzy is such a happy and loving dog. She really brings joy to my husband and our family.

Linda & Grady:

Why use one bed when you can combine the best of both. Delta moved the pillow from the blue bed, 'walked' it across the floor and put it in this bed. After some little boy peed on it, this bed got washed. Not wanting to put it in the dryer (why not? I have not idea why I decided not to) and not wanting to put a damp bed on the wood floor I put it over the toy basket so it would dry on both sides. Somebody couldn't wait for a dry bed......

Linda,

It was really nice to talk and share with you this a.m. Thanks for the tips in caring for little Liz because I did give my husband instructions on making her feel more at-home. I wanted to up-date about my husband’s call about an hour ago. He came home from his part-time job and for the first time heard her bark with excitement over seeing him. I am sad to say – but I think Ken is going to win her heart because he has a plan to spoil her rotten and with me working all the time, I have a feeling I am going to lose! She is doing fine with Chewy, our rescue Pomeranian, and he is learning who really is going to be the boss in our house. If we had known how easy she would have adapted to him, I think we would have taken her sooner. Ken said that she is “dancing” around in her favorite place “the kitchen” and seems very happy. I just wanted to thank you both for investing so much love and training into your dogs because we are benefiting from this precious companion pet.

Love & prayers

Linda and Grady,

We are so excited at how George (right) has already settled in. We really like the name "Riley's Man of the Year," so we decided to take a few letters from it and call him Remy. He has adapted so quickly. Linda, you were right. He sat in Jeff's lap on the way home and he bonded with him immediately. They played on the floor last night and Remy had a blast. Not one peep from him overnight after we put him in his kennel until this morning around 7:00 when he needed to go out. He's very smart and he's already learning his boundaries in our house. He's eating and drinking well even though we really expected his appetite to be off a little in a new environment. He's getting along great with our other dogs...our schnauzer already loves having another playmate! We are attaching the first pics of him with his pap cousin, Shane. Thank you so much for sharing this precious little guy with us. He's already stolen our hearts!! P.S. His surgery is scheduled for Thursday, the 8th. Also, two questions...about how much does he eat a day? And where can we buy his food?

Jack and Missy (being held) are on Santa's right and Captain (being held), Sandy (standing on Santa's leg) and Kiko are on the left side of Santa. I am so proud of them all and have such fun with them. Bet you can't tell where I'm standing!!

Hello Gma Linda and Gpa Grady:

Zoe here ... I'm enjoying this fall, and wanted to send you a quick note. Mom made me and Zak pose in front of pumpkins and corn. Then she put us in front of the flowers and we had to do it again. I'm not sure about all of these photos. It's not my favorite thing, but Zak just sits there and smiles....so I guess I'll start doing what Zak does. I like my castle that I live in. Zak's a good boy and watches out for me. I was missing my playmates at your house. Zak thinks he's Mr Lion King or something and he wouldn't play much before. But, in the past couple of months he has been playing with me and we run and chase through the house. I figured out how to jump on the sofa, and now it's my favorite place to be. I like to climb high on the back pillows. It's the perfect vantage point for me to watch mom as she goes about the house. The other night, mom asked us to go out back and pp. She barely had the door open, we teamed together and ran a raccoon up the tree. It was fun. Mom wasn't too happy and was too quick to make us come back in. I also learned about treats and chicken, mmm good. When I hear the "C" word, I'm the first to the pantry door. Every evening we go out for a walk around the neighborhood. When I hear the jingle of my collar, I go straight to mom to put it on. My butt wiggles so hard, that sometimes I get cross legged and fall down. There are 2 pugs that live next door. In the afternoon, Zak and I venture over there and go in their back door to say hi to them while mom is working out in the back watering flowers (she does that a lot). The neighbor that lives there always gives us a treat. It's a pretty cool deal. I don't like mom being out of sight, but by watching Zak, I've figured out how to run in, say hi, look cute, then get the treat and run back outside to make sure mom is still there. She is and then Zak and I sniff our way through the grass back home. Things are pretty cool here. I just wanted to say hi and hope all is going good there. Please tell all my buddies hello. And, snugs and doggie kisses for a Happy Fall and Thanksgiving. Woof wuff

Oh Linda,

Thank you so much for the picture!! He’s a great little guy and I am totally taken with him. He’s a snuggler! He loves to be cuddled and of course I oblige him! I hope Grady is doing better. Keep me posted. I am hoping that Carla and Delain will take Mari – I want Buddy and her to be able to see each other………………….. He went to the vet yesterday and he weighs 3lbs 15oz. He is perfectly healthy. He eats good, you were right, he loves his raw diet!!! He is about 95% house broken – he’s still studying on the doggy door.

Hi Linda,

Just a short message to enclose a recent picture of Jingles with his favorite "toy," a small teddy bear. He will play retrieve games with you until he exhausts one with his energy.. It is so cute when I can throw it where he can't find it (briefly), and he goes running here and there with a "huffing" sound until he finally "smells it out." He is still a joy and a perfect companion dog.... no trouble; minds well; reacts to commands, and does a bunch of tricks. I take him to my shop (The Gold Leaf Gallery) on Saturdays, since we are only open until 3 p.m., and people who know this come by to say hello to Jingles, and if by chance he isn't here, they remind me to "Say hello to Jingles." Thanks again for letting us have this wonderful little boy.

Linda and Grady,

CH Riley's Jack of Clubs, CD, RA completed his Companion Dog title in Novice B class from Judge William Parrill. With great effort on his part to be sure his ear fringe and coat were in place, he finished his title with his highest score of 184. Jack and I had fun and his cuteness and enthusiasm was quite entertaining for the judges and the audience.

Linda and Grady,

Yes, we have a winner. Delta is a lap dog. She comes up when invited and will stay as long as I pet her. If she gets REAL comfy she will even stay when I stop petting her. Hallelujah!!!!!! For the last year she was with me Bella had stopped sitting on my lap. She would occasionally lay on the foot rest but was very uncomfortable with being on a lap. Even one as well padded as mine. And the boys are not lap dogs, except during thunder storms when they will even tolerate overcrowding ( 2 dogs and a cat) as long as we can hear it raining. When the noise stops they get down. That was today. Yesterday was her first day here and we had two firsts. One was to be expected but the other was totally off the wall. Her first day here, and her first butt bath in her new home. Yes, the queen, the champion, the wonderful girl had a dingleberry. We got into bed and I smelt a 'whiffy'. My first reaction is always to lift Boo Bear's tail, 'cause it is always him. Surprise! Surprise! Clean butt. Oh, no........lift another tail, and there it was.....wet and stinky. So even though it was past our bedtime, we had to get up and go get a butt bath. But it was worth it, because she slept even closer than the night before. What was totally unexpected, because it had never happened before, Sugar(cat) brought a squawky baby bird into the house. Laid it down on the floor. On the rug of course. I thought it was dead so I went to get the dust pan. Crash, bang. Baby bird not only squawking, but flying, sort of. Mostly fluttering. Sugar does this huge jump and grabs the bird right out of the air. Puts it back down on the rug. I turned around to pick up the dust pan, again, and here comes Delta across the living room with the baby bird in her mouth. My mouth dropped open. Nobody told me Pap's did retrieving!!!!!! Following closely the example that had already been set, she too put the bird down on the rug....another rug in another room. Just as dogs can learn, so can people. This time I waited to see if the dang bird was still play acting or if it was really dead. When it didn't move after I swept it into the dust pan, I sort of figured out that it wasn't play acting at that point. Of course I never thought to get the camera. All is right with the world.

Linda and Grady,

Just wanted you to know how happy we are with Giselle and Gabriel. Always with me, always the center of attention. Don't know how we lived without them!. She is most definatly the Princess.... and he is forever the Angel! Thank you again so much for choosing me for him, and trusting me with her. They are absolutely wonderful! (feel free to use this on your website, people should really know how wonderful the personality of your dogs actually are!)

Linda and Grady,

Thank you for the pictures. yes all is going really well. We had several names picked out Ace, Ramsey, Meeko. We let Gabi select his name and the final vote was for Meeko. Meeko is very happy and loves to frolic around the house and backyard. He loves to please and a little bit of praise goes a long way. He has learned how to deal with the leash and loves to go on walks around our local park. He is adjusting well and appears to very happy.

Linda and Grady,

Thanks for the photos marking the beginning of Zoe's new adventure to Austin with Zak. We have had a lot of fun this week. She is bouncy and happy and follows me throughout the house. Zak is still adjusting and generally pouts, but he will mellow out in a few weeks. Zoe now walks with all of us every evening on her leash. She is still working on riding in the wagon. Zoe prefers to hang with mom and Zak at the house, in/out front/back/garage ... she doesn't get much beauty sleep. The kids say hi and well check in again soon.

Hi Linda and Grady,

I just wanted to update you on Scout (Cotton). He is SO amazing! The three boys (Dusty, Tanner, and Scout) love each other so much! And we truly laugh at them all every single day! They play SO well together, and are just a hoot!!!! Scout has been a true blessing. I was worried about him at first because he was so small but he is PERFECT. I actually like his size the best now! J He is just under 6 lbs. now, and I am sure that is where he will stay. We are now trying to resist Buddy. What a DOLL!!! But we don’t need 4 dogs. I think it would upset the apple cart! Ha! Anyway, just want to let you know what a joy Scout is to our family! If we ever need another little guy, we will definitely give you a call. Have a joyous day!

Hi Linda and Grady,

Today we are celebrating Andi and Newly's sixth birthday. It seems like only yesterday that we were at your house picking out the two most beautiful pups we'd ever seen. Here it is six years later, and they are still bringing us immeasurable joy and love. As I write Newly is sitting behind me in the chair. If he's not sleeping, he's looking out the window for his friend Rocky, the squirrel. When he spots Rocky, Andi comes running in to add her two cents worth. They still play faithfully with the toys you gave them at birth: Andi is lost without "Birthday Cake" and Newly rests his chin on his favorite bear, "Ted." Whenever we take our walks, we often have people comment on how beautiful and well-mannered they are. We tell them, too, that there are no sweeter dogs on this earth than Andi and Newly. We have attached a photo of them taken today on our front porch. Looking into those liquid brown eyes tugs at our hearts and fills us with gratitude for our precious Andi and Newly.

Hello Linda and Grady,

I just wanted to let you know how Blackjack is doing. He has gone from a little shy to completely outgoing. He is so friendly now that when my father in law came to visit, Blackjack ran as fast as he could to jump on his lap. He has been a lot of fun. He loves to take walks on the beach and has just learned the joys of terrifying cats. I try to keep him from getting to close to them but he would love to chase them everywhere. He has become a little sneaky and learned how to open cabinets and his door, so I have to secure him with a gate every time I leave, but its so cute. He is very obedient and still remembers all his tricks provided that a treat is in view. Blackjack is the best pup and he is loved so much by his family. Thanks again for selling us this little dog. I still look on your web site at the dogs and yours are still the cutest of them all!

Hi Linda,

Our little boy is about to have his annual Christmas birthday, his eighth, I think, and since my last communication with you he has been very busy. He completed his "Trick Class" at PetSmart, and knows many new and entertaining tricks. My favorite that gets the most laughs is, " Would you rather be an Aggie or a DEAD DOG," then he falls down on his right side and stays there until released. I had taught him to "ring around the rosie" before he started the class, and the first trick the class was to learn, was "go around," which Jingles comprehended as ring around, and when it was his time to be "coaxed" into going around a chair and around me, he pranced around like he knew exactly what was being said. The teacher hollered, "Awesome Jingles." He also knows roll over, spin ( in a circular clockwise spin), crawl, shake hands, sit up, and has learned to stay put in one place for about 3 or 4 minutes without coming to me. My next goal in the new year for him is to get his CGC - Canine Good Citizen certificate, and then have him get his therapy certificate so we can go and help with the sick and infirmed people in hospitals and nursing homes. So, you can see, he has not had time to let grass grown under his little paws.
What is amazing to me is how people remember his name. On many occasions friends and other people who are little known acquaintances will ask me, "How is Jingles?" Some of them I can barely remember their name, much less them remember Jingles' name. I took him to meet our congressman, Louie Gohmert, and will enclose a picture of him with one of the staff, Joanna Fitzgerald, who was "Miss Texas" at an earlier time in her life.
I can't tell you how much this little guy means to Jean and I, and how much fun he is to have as a member of our family. He loves to play with his toy ( a teddy bear, is his favorite), and all you have to do is say "Go get your toy," and he dashes off to find it. I love tricking him by pretending to throw it and when he goes to find it, throw it so he will have to hunt it down. He makes funny little breathy noises when he is looking for his prize. Funny! I take him for a walk every day that it's not raining, and when we get near home, he loves to visit with a neighbor across the street. He will turn in his driveway and have those ears erect to see if "George" is there waiting to pet him.
One lady customer of mine saw him one Saturday when I had him with me at my gallery, and she told her son about the breed, and he bought one for her in Dallas, somewhere... but not nearly as pretty as our boy. Anyway, I could go on for several pages about Jingles, but, I'm sure you knew what a special boy he was before we ever had the privilege of being his "parents' and loving him morning noon and night.
Thanks again from
Jean and Buster

Linda & Grady,

Missy handled her photo with Santa like she did it everyday. The only one of my 3 dogs that didn't make an immediate attempt to get away. I know the guy who was dressed as Santa and is a dog person so that might help or I've socialized her enough that she thinks it's fine to go with who I put her with. Missy is a dear. She is partial to Jaime so if she eludes me, I get him to get her. She rules the roost with the other two. Kiko gets his feet bit until he plays with her and she likes running up to and into Jack to hear him squeal. She has claimed all the toys and if the other two take one, she goes and takes it away from them and plays keep away with it until they lose interest. She does love taking naps with me and has to lay on my torso for our naps and flat tells the other two that is her space. Enjoy the pictures.

Hello Linda & Grady,

I thought I would give you a update on Blackjack. He is doing great and is a very happy and demanding little dog. He hasn't grown much at all he is still a tiny boy much smaller then the other Papillons in our neighborhood. He loves to go on walks and play with his rope toy, he is great at fetch and often teases me with his toys when I am reading or anything else that dares to take my attention off him. He is soooo beautiful, I groom him myself once every week or two and have just reciently learned to get his ear hair looking just right. He travels with us everywhere and has gone to St Augustine, Smoky Mountians(he loved it in Tennessee and it was like he had a energy pill as soon as he saw the mountians and water), and many small towns in Florida when we visit faimly. He really enjoys kayaking, he watches the water bugs, stares at other travelers, and rides on my lap as we glide down the local creeks. He is such a sweet dog I call him my angel. Thanks again for selling me such a special dog.

Thanks!

We are having the most fun with Tripp! He's a very good dog; sweet, smart, playful... I've been 100% on top of him with the housetraining, and I think he's got it already (knock on wood). So, thanks for another great dog!

Hi Linda

Rage has continued to adjust to living with this crazy crew. She is no longer my white shadow, she had decided she can go do her own thing and I will be there when she needs me. She loves to bounce on Payten when she wants to be fed, we didn't know she could get that high off the ground and still wiggle. Rage has also discovered yarn balls and she enjoys tearing them up and playing tug-o-war with me. She has also taught my Mom's Boston Terrier who is boss and she is beginning to loosen up and play with her more. Rage actually informed my guests one evening that it was bed time and they needed to go home! I have enrolled Rage in Obediance training. Thanks for raising such a sweet pet.

Our Special Show N Tell

I have to share a quick Bo story. Yesterday, Bo was invited to attend Johnson Elementary to visit my daughter’s second grade class. Emma’s teacher is allowing each child to bring an extra special Show N Tell once a week until the end of the year. I took Bo to her class yesterday afternoon. Emma explained to her class what the word Papillon means in French. Then, I showed her class the several dog books we have that Emma has researched for the last year until she found the “perfect” breed for our family. I told them how important it is to find a dog that is the perfect fit for your family—grooming, excercise, indoor/outdoor, etc. because you may have the dog for 14+ years and you want to like/love your pet. Told them Emma is the one who found the Papillon breed in her books and then presented the information to her mom and dad. Told them how I spoke to several breeders and bought a book specifically on Papillons so that we knew the best way to train, take care of, etc. It went really well and Emma was so proud to show off Bo. He even wore a special #1 shirt that we bought at Target that is just his size (matching leash, of course). He also wasn’t too distracted and showed off how he can sit, shake, and lay down on command. Just thought I would share. He’s curled up by my feet under the desk in his doggie bed right now. : )

Linda,

Just a note to enclose a picture of Jingles on his favorite nighttime retreat, the bed. He is still the "love" he has always been since the moment we saw him for the first time. Everyone just adores him, especially my bachelor son in Houston. We took him with us on the last visit and the three of us went to the Galleria Mall with Jingles in his little shoulder strap carrying case. We had more cute girls come up to us and want to pet him. My son asked if he could borrow Jingles for a week, since he is such a "Chick Magnet."
I went to an AKC dog show Sunday in Canton where my daughter Anne judged a couple of categories, and while there I watched the papillons being judged. I was trying to be impartial, but I honestly did not see one that was an equal to Jingles. Thanks again for this special little boy... we both love him and treat him like he hung the moon.

Hi Linda!

We had a great trip home. The puppy was wonderful the whole trip. In fact she has been wonderful. She slept in her crate every night and only cried when she had to go out. Today she went to work with me. She was wonderful with all the people she met. We were careful with the older children but she really enjoyed them the most. She spent much of the day in my lap. She is almost completely housebroken. She had an accident this evening right after dinner because I wasn't on the ball. We are working things out though. The Corgi's are having to adjust a little. She is so little they don't know what to do. She plays well with the cats. The younger cat played with her this evening until the Corgi's got worried he was too rough. I am thinking of naming her Spright. She reminds me of a little elf. I can't thank you enough for allowing me to bring her home. She is a blessed gift. We'll keep in touch.

Thanks,
Laura & Joey

Hi!

Blackjack is doing great and really coming out of his shell. He would still rather sit on your lap then play, he is a great companion & he has so much energy. He walks great on a leash and loves walks. I am going to sign him up for a obedience class in about a month. That will be fun. He acts like he is already trained he is so well behaved. His hair has grown so much and he gets prettier every day. Well I thought I would let you know what was going on. Thank you for selling me such a wonderful dog. He is a little angel

Linda & Grady!

Hope this finds you both doing well! Just wanted to give you an update on sweet Megan! I could never have imagined that so much sweetness, playfulness, cuddles, & intelligence could come all wrapped up in one tiny package! Megan has continued to get "settled in" and seems happy and well adjusted to her new surroundings, (although I think I saw just a bit of wistfulness when I gave her kisses from Grandma Linda)! She continues to do very well with her house training -- we still keep her tethered to us, (thanks for suggesting that)! But she is quick to go as soon as she gets outside and has started going to the door when she needs to go out.

We've not taken any great pictures, but I thought I'd send you a couple just so you could see her. I'll try to get a better one of the 3 of them at (in) the desk! It's really cute! I'm still looking for the right Princess Pillow for the princess --so far the ones I've seen are too big for such a tiny one to snuggle in! As you can see from the picture, until I find the right one, she loves her little box with the blanket -- it's just the right size.

Once again, thanks for trusting us with such a sweetie. Everyone who sees her falls in love with her (altho, she warms up to strangers with caution) -- and she sure does her part to warn us when someone comes to the door!

Thanks for everything! I'll keep in touch!

Julie

Hi Linda,

Jingles has been a delight. He is so full of himself and oozing with energy. Jean went to Rusk yesterday to see a friend in a play, and I took Jingles to Petsmart and registered him in an obidience class starting on March 20 for eight weeks. Then we went to Rudman park and took a long walk in the sunshine. Later we came back home and I reclined for a rest/snooze, and Jingles joined me on my lap for about 2 hours. Saturday, we took him to a neighbor's house to introduce him to their "woof pack," and he was a perfect gentleman. I can't tell you how much fun he is, and how great he is in the house. He hasn't had one accident, and always holds his urges to go until he is outside. He sleeps the night on the bed, like he has owned it for years. He cuddles up to my leg and is there for as long as I am there. If I have to get up, he jumps up and follows me where ever I go. If we have to go out somewhere, we put him in the entrance hall, which has lots of room for him to be comfortable. The front door has three small windows in it, and when he hears our car door shut, he is standing at the door, looking out the bottom window for our return. So cute. We are more than pleased with him. He hasn't eaten very much of the food, and that worries me a little, but I'm sure it is more "different surroundings" than anything to explain his small appitite. He has many toys to play with, since the couple down the street gave him a big bag of treats, including three more toys. Our cat is scared to death of him, and we have tried to get them acquainted by each of us holding one and trying to get the cat use to having a different dog in his presence. I'm sure it will work out eventually. I'll get him to the vet towards the end of this week to be examined and have his stitches removed. That's about it from here. He seems to have bonded with me more than with Jean. . , but, whatever, he is in good hands with two loving "new" parents. Thanks again for letting us enjoy this sweet little boy.

Andi and Newly are ready for foul weather. The raincoats were gifts from a friend of ours. They look precious but they've never worn them. We haven't taken any walks in the rain!

Linda & Grady!

Sorry I haven't sent this update sooner. Jordan made the trip to his new home fine. He was well received to say the very least. He is the focus of everyones attention. He is a smart, extreamly lovable, sweet, energtic, cute, beautiful, etc.... I could just keep going on. If he would have been with me and Tony any longer he would probubly still be here in Dallas. All reports are that he is learning quickly and has been a breeze to train. He goes for walks, car rides, visits and seems to love the attention. My Mom and Dad are both so proud and I have had several calls to update me on his progress. News traveled fast through the family and he is quickly becoming a spoiled little one with many items being purchased just for him. My Dad has nick named him King Jordan (KJ for short)!! I have attached a couple of pics of his new parents from x-mas. I am sure my mom will be glad to send you an update in the future as well. Take care & thanks for helping me bring such a joy to my parents!
